The PANDORA

The Pandora are a race of all blue haired, all male, powerful human like, creatures. They first appeared in the pages of my other web comic The Academy of Demonslayers. They feed on souls of humans and demons. 

A human soul grants a Pandora extra lives. Pandora can gain more lives from an indiviual if that person (a)trusts them with their lives and verbably says so or (b) falls in loves with a Pandora.

Demon souls strenghtens a Pandora’s powers and ability, making them harder to defeat. Depending on the demon soul, a Pandora may also gain the special abilities of the demon. A Pandora also has the ability to create copies of themselves, called Extensions.

The Academy of Demonslayers

A Pandora known as Yri Rook infiltrated a special demon slaying military school called The Academy. His ‘Extension’ Juste Matsuo also was enrolled at The Academy also. Unlike Rook, Juste lived a life of denial and didn’t want to accept who/what he was or what he’d done. Rook stole the soul of his partner, Li Hunter, and put his plans to destroy the human world into motion. Juste challenged him but in the end it was Li Hunter’s soul that defeated Rook. Rook planned ahead though. He had created two infant Extensions of himself and placed them in different areas of the world.

One of these extensions was raised by mountain monks, who were warned by Juste of the nature of the child. The child quickly aged after secretly consuming the souls of living creatures. He become a carbon copy of the original Rook. His plans were to travel to the demon world where he’d harverst hundreds of Pandora. Juste and his former partner at The Academy, Nezumi Uematsu, followed Rook to the demon world. Another Pandora named Sevgi stood by Rook’s side but was defeated by Juste.  

Juste died at the hands of Rook but was resurrected when Nezumi gave up her soul for him. With the bound the two shared and Nezumi’s undieing love, Juste became strong enough to defeat Rook.  At the end of The Academy DemonSlayers’ series countless Pandora were freed and now roam the world preying on an oblivious society. What do they have planned for humanity?

Pandora Ascension takes place 10 years after the final chapter of The Academy of Demonslayers.
